About
Scott Fisk is a graphic designer and educator. Scott has taught at Memphis College of Art, American Intercontinental University, and Samford University. He graduated first in his class from Memphis College of Art with an MFA in Computer Art and recieved his BFA in Graphic Design from Henderson State University. Scott’s interests include web design, typography, photography, motion graphics and multimedia. He began his career in graphic design in 1994 at NetM Communications, a interactive agency with customers in the US, Canada, Australia, and the Europe. Since then, Scott has lived and worked in the United States and Britain. His motion graphic works have been featured on major television networks in the US, Australia, and Japan. Scott’s work is part of permanent collections in numerous galleries and museums including the US National Archives. Scott served as a Army Reserve Photo-Journalist in Iraq often embedding as a combat photographer with US and Iraqi units during combat operations. He was recently selected as a Road Scholar by the Alabama Humanities Organization. Scott is an active member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and serves as a Birmingham AIGA board member and Educational Chair. Scott enjoys traveling with his wife Timarie who shares his peculiar interest in broadsides, ephemera, and antique printing processes.
